A special thanks to all of the extraordinary artists that I have had the good fortune to meet in the workshops over the years. It is a fantastic journey and I am grateful! - Marty Brens

There are many useful analogies to making a painting that I find helpful.I would like you to consider how a house is built! First, we have to plot where we want to place the house on the property.(What are the best views etc.?)Next, we need a good layout and design for the house. Then we will need sound foundation and construction. We want quality workmanship.Lastly, we can pay attention to detail and decoration. If we approach it the other way around,we can’t be sure the foundation will hold up over time.
In this class, we will develop the skills to be able to accurately see and implement the concepts that will go a long way towards allowing you to communicate your vision in paint.
