Since 1990, we've been offering fine art instruction through plein air and studio workshops in a variety of locations. Artists may choose an all-inclusive package in a Premium workshop retreat; or a workshop in which the participants are responsible for their own lodging and meals.

Premium workshop: 6-8 student maximum with all the perks. All-inclusive, private room, three meals daily, appetizers after class, and wine or beer with happy hour and with dinner. Chefs Michael and Steve from Rustingram Catering will be preparing all of our meals as well as appetizers at the close of class. We can accommodate any dietary issues you may have. Massage option in the evenings.
Join Randall Sexton as he shares his own technique and joy of painting on location, en plein air. While the fundamentals of painting en plein air will be reviewed, demonstrated, and discussed, the class is designed to encourage the experienced artist to stretch their own boundaries, in an effort be “in the moment” in any location. “One on One” Randall excels in individual critiques and assistance as he guides students to higher ground. Primarily an oil painter, Randall is open to other mediums in the class. Students of all levels are welcome.
