This workshop will cover the fundamentals of landscape painting with pastels and oils, including composition, values, masses, focal point, edges, drawing and color. Pastels’ consistent colors lend themselves naturally to outdoor studies and indoor studio work. Weather permitting; we will be outdoors every day working on location creating small pastel field studies. Lorenzo feels that working from life is the best way to gain the skills and knowledge to improve your landscape work. This workshop is for those who already enjoy working with pastels or oils or students who wish to experiment with these media.
