Simplifying Landscape Paintings

In this landscape workshop Jean will help you to learn how to quickly translate a complex scene in front of you into a simplified and powerful painting.

Emphasis will be on learning to correctly identify value relationships, becoming sensitive to color, and making good, strong compositions.

Jean will do several demonstrations throughout the week to illustrate these points, with plenty of painting time for all participants. All students will receive one-on-one help in problem solving on their own paintings.
