How to Paint an Idea Plein Air
Oil
June 8-13
Pueblo

Painters will learn to start a painting with the idea of what attracted you to the subject you are painting. George will focus on the approach of not painting specific things, but rather shapes, patterns and ideas, directly from life.

George believes that the best paintings are not so much about the subject you choose but about the visual qualities in the subject matter. Each day will be a stepping- stone to the next day.

Personal attention will be devoted to each painter’s level along with critiques to help students move up a notch. Demos and discussions on these basic principles will be included.

$650 tuition
