A special thanks to all of the extraordinary artists that I have had the good fortune to meet in the workshops over the years. It is a great journey and I am grateful! - Marty Brens

Since 1990, we've been offering fine art instruction through plein air and studio workshops in a variety of locations. Artists may choose an all-inclusive package in a Premium workshop retreat; or a workshop in which the participants are responsible for their own lodging and meals.

Plein Air And Studio Workshops 2015 and 2016

"It was an incredible 4 days.  Everyone is sick of hearing me rave about it. Thank our incredible chefs especially Michael for his kindness in helping me with road conditions. Thanks for putting together something so perfect!

Thanks for all you did to make this artist workshop so special. The instruction was outstanding and your invisible hand tending to every detail was noticed and appreciated by everyone!" Marie

This year we are thrilled to add to the roster some of the best new up and coming artist instructors currently teaching, along with the usual suspects!

Step Away From the Usual!

Don't settle for an average workshop experience.

Have you felt like just another face in an over-crowded class?

You will receive more "personalized time" with our higher instructor-to-student ratio.  Our maximum size of class enrollment is now 8-12 students in the non-inclusive workshops.

Premier Workshops; 6-8 student maximum. These painting workshops are all-inclusive, and every detail is handled for an extraordinary learning experience. More personal attention from the instructor,  paired with fresh delicious meals and after class libations, in an intimate, comfortable venue, allowing more quality time to emerse in your art process and relax in the evenings with other artists and the instructor.

The most rewarding workshop is when you are able to make a real art connection with the instructor and the other artists, and go home with new knowledge and new friends.

You will gain a wealth of information and enjoy an unforgettably rich experience for your money well spent.
